Meet Ambee Stephens: A Visionary Leader Empowering Women and Creating Change

Hello, I'm Ambee Stephens – a passionate and driven leader with a clear vision for empowering women through growth, connection, and inspiration. As the founder and CEO of EmpowHERment, a non-profit organization, I am dedicated to creating a supportive and inclusive community for women to thrive. My background in civil service and extensive experience in non-profit work has given me a deep understanding of the challenges faced by women in today's society.

My own journey of losing my father and witnessing the struggles of women around me inspired me to establish EmpowHERment. Under my guidance, the organization has grown into a major player in the nonprofit sector, providing women with the resources and opportunities they need to succeed. Through all-inclusive programs, networking events, and workshops, my team and I have helped countless women in the community achieve their goals and realize their full potential.

Education is at the core of my beliefs, and as the oldest of 9, I knew I had to emphasize its importance to my siblings. I hold two bachelor's degrees – one in community leadership and one in paralegal studies. I also earned a Master's of Nonprofit Management from the University of Central Florida (UCF) and obtained several certificates, including Fundraising and Grant Writing from UCF. Currently, I am pursuing my Ph.D. in Sociology at UCF, with the hope of educating women on finding their purpose.

As a leader, I am committed to using my voice and platform to advance the cause of women everywhere. My dedication extends beyond EmpowHERment, as I intentionally run a consulting business to assist those looking to start or amplify their charitable causes.

On a personal note, I am a believer in Jesus and cherish my personal roles. When I'm not focused on EmpowHERment, you can find me traveling or spending quality time with my loved ones.
