A Purpose Chaser: The Movement & The Event

Hey there! I’m Ambee. A purpose chaser who found my purpose in a pretty tough way. I drove headfirst into discovering my true calling. It and not been a walk in the park, but let me tell you… I have given everything, and along the way, something weird happened. I started feeling really down and out about the work I was doing. It’s like I love the dream I’ve been chasing, but once you catch it, it doesn’t feel the same.

I started asking myself “Am I the only one feeling this way”?

That’s when it hit me. I can’t be the only one. There’s gotta be others, especially in the “community servant” world, who started with a bang and now feeling lost in the sauce. So I said, “Why not start something where we can all get together, pour into one another, and create a community that is exclusive to those who get it. “ That’s how this movement began. It’s not about the fancy stuff like education or fundraising. Nope. Not even close. It’s simply just us, nonprofit executives, community leaders, entrepreneurs, founders trying to find that spark again.

You know getting back to that feeling of “I absolutely love what I do.”

So, here we are, a bunch of purpose chasers, supporting each other and keeping it real. We are sharing the good, the bad, and everything in between. It’s all about getting that love back for what we started.

Because at the end of the day, it’s about remembering why we kicked off this journey in the first place and helping each other enjoy the ride, no matter how bumpy it gets.
